Pieces of clothing and household items are donated to the community each year through our Clothing Room.

Gospel Center Rescue Mission (GCRM) operates a free clothing and household goods Ministry. The Clothing PLUS Program (CPP) supplies the needy, homeless of San Joaquin County and GCRM program participants with clothing, household goods, and items necessary to move them beyond homelessness FREE OF CHARGE.

CPP may also assist in:

  • Furnishing households for those affected by fire and other natural disasters.
  • Furnishing households for people who have succeeded in finding a place to live, obtained work and/or have funding to live independently.

CPP also:

  • Picks up donations by truck in San Joaquin County.
  • Hires and trains Cal-Works clients as a service to San Joaquin County*.

*Cal-Works is a Human Services Agency which recommends individuals to GCRM for work experience.

At all times, this Ministry seeks to show the love of Jesus Christ in all interactions and encounters with people that come to the CPP. No income or identification is needed.
