Wayne Richardson, the CEO of the Gospel Center Rescue Mission is our tireless leader who keeps us moving forward. A faithful servant of Jesus Christ, three years ago he came to serve our community and continues to fulfill his God given vision. Here we share his background accompanied by the accomplishments and opportunities that we continue to experience under Wayne’s leadership.
Wayne, an Eagle Scout, grew up in a military family, living throughout the world. After high school he entered the Army as an enlisted soldier and gained an appointment to the United States Military Academy at West Point. Throughout his military and civilian careers, God opened doors that enhanced his leadership skills and vision for working in the nonprofit world. He has worked with a number of organizations including the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, South Eastern University, the Christian Broadcasting Network’s Operation Blessing International, and Faith Farm Ministries.
The Gospel Center Rescue Mission (GCRM) is a ministry to the people of San Joaquin County where the homeless and addicted in our community are presented the opportunity for spiritual, physical and emotional restoration through the love of Jesus Christ.
