The Mission is blessed beyond measure by the presence of the many children who live part-time and full-time at The Mission. We call them our Mission Kids. They make us smile and laugh. They are children, God’s children. And we are grateful and thankful that God has given them to us. Having these beautiful, innocent children in our care comes with a tremendous responsibility to love them unconditionally, teach them, give them opportunity for expanding their view on life, and feel safe. We know that our most important task is to teach and share the love of Jesus to these adorable children. While in our care, our staff is also working diligently to teach the parents the importance of responsible parenting. We never know if our Mission Kids will be with us for a few weeks, a few months, or for several years. What we do know, is that when they are here, they are loved and cared for in the name of Jesus.
