We’ve been waiting to make a BIG SPLASH announcement, and finally, we can tell you all about the King’s Kids Water Park! The splash pad is for our Mission Kids and other children in the community – just in time for lots of summer fun. On a joyous Thursday, May 9th, Mission friends, Mission Kids, staff and students gathered to dedicate this refreshing new addition to the campus. On average, there are thirty to forty children who live part – and full-time at The Mission while their parents are enrolled in the New Life Program. This fun and colorful area, adjacent to the playground equipment, is a welcome activity, offering another opportunity for the Mission Kids to have an outlet that is safe and secure. Thank you to our anonymous, generous donor who provided the funding to bring joy to The Mission Kids!
