Lindsey Medina’s journey to The Mission began in high school. Although stepping through the ‘Jesus Saves’ gate would come later in life, she started on a path that took many twists and turns. In high school, like most teenagers, she just wanted to fit in. She experienced social anxiety yet found herself getting involved in things to earn acceptance. Lindsey had control issues and a poor body image that led her to become anorexic. Upon graduating from high school, she moved in with her older sister and was able to get a job and bought a car.
