Just imagine being left behind by both your mother and your father, separated from your siblings and being put into foster care. That is what Laurie Ann Holloway experienced at the early age of five. The next fourteen years she spent bouncing from foster home to foster home. “I never belonged anywhere. I never had a home, or a crew of friends,” said Laurie. Since then, Laurie has rekindled her relationship with her dad and her siblings.
