Not often does an individual make such an impact on our staff and New Life Program students as did City of Stockton Mayor, Kevin Lincoln. Within three short months, the Lord sent him to visit our campus three times.
The first visit came several weeks after the election took place. City of Stockton Mayor-Elect Lincoln, along with Vice Mayor Dan Wright and Councilmembers Christina Fugazi and Susan Lenz participated at the December 3, 2020 dedication of the William R. “Bill” Brown Building – a 118 bed dormitory for homeless women and children. This visit gave us confidence that Mayor Lincoln was truly looking to address his #1 Campaign pledge – to help the homeless of Stockton.
